Curtis Peters, author of A Family Treasure–The Fascinating Account of an Immigrant Ancestry, will speak about his travels, research and findings in writing his book at the March 2 program of the Southern Indiana Genealogical Society (SIGS). Curt and his wife Pam visited Germany, Poland, Italy, England, Canada, and states in New England, the Midwest, and the Southwest where they researched their ancestors using church, tax, and other records. They walked the streets, toured the countrysides, and saw the homes and churches of their ancestors.
A “meet and mingle” with light refreshments will begin at 6:45 PM with program at 7 PM in the Strassweg Auditorium of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library, 180 W.
