Join SIGS for our celebration of 200 years of statehood with a “Bison-tennial” party. Professional land surveyor David Ruckman will present “The Indiana Wilderness Road, A Retracement Survey of the Indiana Buffalo Trace.” He will explore the route worn by buffalo migrating from Kentucky through Indiana and into Illinois, later used by settlers moving into the Northwest Territory.
A meet and mingle with light refreshments will begin at 6:45 PM with program at 7 PM in the Strassweg Auditorium of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library, 180 W. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana.
