Silver Grove historian Jim Munford will present an account of the Silver Grove community, some of its notable citizens, and its impact on New Albany and Floyd County at the May 3 program of the Southern Indiana Genealogical Society. Silver Grove was established in 1883 and incorporated in 1886. A “meet and mingle” with light refreshments will start at 6:15 PM with program at 6:30 in the Applegate Room at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library, 180 W. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. For more information, please visit sigsweb.org or call Donna Kepley Foster at 812-923-3492.

PLEASE NOTE that we will be meeting in the APPLEGATE Room (by the Children’s department) rather than the auditorium due to early voting in the library auditorium.
