The Southern Indiana Genealogical Society (SIGS) will host two workshops at the September 6 program. Rae Ann Sauer and Zac Distel of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will present “How to Dress Like a Colonial American.” The two will discuss the clothing of gentry and working men and women during the colonial era. SIGS member Donna Kepley Foster will teach “Designing Your First Families Poster” with techniques for creating a genealogical display of tri-county settlers. A “meet and mingle” with light refreshments will start at 6:15 PM with program at 6:30 in the auditorium at the Floyd County Public Library, 180 W. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana.
