The Southern Indiana Genealogical Society will host a “New Year’s Genealogy Tea” on January 4, 2018. Members and guests are invited to attend and share their recent research findings, brick wall challenges and breakthroughs, favorite family stories and mementos over holiday tea and dessert.
Far from being a throw-away meeting in case we have 30″ of snow or the Library closes for extreme temperatures, this meeting will allow you to discuss genealogical facts and techniques with some very experienced members of our community. Yes, 30″ of snow and temperatures well below zero will probably cause the meeting to be canceled.
A “meet and mingle” with light refreshments will begin at 6:15 PM with round-table discussion at 6:30 PM in the Strassweg Auditorium of the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library, 180 W. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana.
